Art, for example

Bernhard Leitner
A pioneer in sound-art, Leitner received a degree in architecture and has been experimenting with the acoustics of space since the '70s.  Using arrays of speakers, he has created rooms in which sound would travel in a circle around a person's head, down to their toes, and back up.  He developed a "sound suit" and "sound chair" (see photo) in addition to completing large-scale sound pieces in Berlin, Vienna, and Paris.
