Reminder

By next Thursday, have both your "Candy" and "Objects of the Same Color" projects completed.

You have a bit of time to finish your "Candy" pieces. The ideas mentioned during our meeting were pretty clever and interesting. Give yourself enough time to complete these pieces and get to work on the next phase.

The "Objects..." project has shifted slightly; everybody is now responsible for their own color and there is a list of items to collect. Like a scavenger hunt, but with more creativity.

Here are the categories:
- Square
- Round
- Fruit
- Paper
- Plant
- Jewelry
- Soft
- Hard

Here are the colors for each person:
- Carlos:White
- Kacey:Red
- Josie:Green
- Christine:Orange
- Max:Yellow
- Kevin:Black
- Isabel:Blue
- Shruti:Purple

Remember that modification and alteration of the objects is encouraged. Paint a green piece of wood blue. Cut a round disk to make a square. Make your own jewelry using some junk found around the house.
It'll be easy to find the stuff on the list in the color you need, but the point is to be artistic in your approach.

If you finish something and would like to store it at school ahead of time, Mr. Malley and Mrs. Caston have space available in the classrooms for you to do so. The red cabinet to the right of the sink in Mr. Malley's class is open as are the large cabinets (period 4/5?) in Mrs. Caston's class.
